The day after the Raft Races at Portrush, we headed of to Stormont for the Red Bull Soap Box Races (quite an action-packed weekend). It was a fabulous sunny day and the setting looked great.

There were far too many vehicles to show them all, so I've posted up some of my favourites. Starting with good old Tweetie Pie from the Looney Lambs...

Of course the best way of seeing this is to watch the DVD but on here you will have to make do with photos. The Penalty Point Pirates certainly clocked up penalty points when they wiped out the finishing post!


Another great crash landing came from Team Thing, who were doing so well right up until they went over the finishing ramp (designed I'm sure for just such an effect)...


It has to be said that the winner did look the part...

... even though he too toppled over after the finish line!

Definitely a fun day that I would repeat.
